Day 2 Drawing Portraits - T1B16

Art was different than the classes we had before. Today, we drew portraits of ourselves. This is a new experience. I done a lot of different styles of sketching and painting, but this is the first time I drew myself infront of a mirror. The results? Well I guess you could say that you could tell it was me, but the proportions on my face were distorted. My eyes were drawn too big. Kathy, Joanna, and I laughed and helped fix each other's portraits. It was more exciting than any other art class. The mirrors we used were also extraordinary. They were bendy! Really... By gently wobbling and twisting them in a certain order, Joanna found a way to make her look like she was dancing like an Egyptian... lol.
