T2B77 - A DRAMATIC situation

It's funny - I was watching this chinese drama earlier in the week. My parents got mad at me. They said that I live int he modern world and need to do more stuff that are in fad here in present-day Canada. I told them that Asian dramas are a big fad today. They just got even more angry. I hate arguing with my mom - its pointless. I can never win. She just changes the topic and punishes me for something I did a month ago if she doesn't have a comeback. Then, later that nite, she was watching her 1980s drama episodes. So i guess people are only allowed to watch stuff from their generation? NO. I can loosen up a bit and watch whatever I want once in a while, can I???
