The Da Vinci Code - T1B62

Grade 8's the first year I was introduced to adult-like books -  mostly encouraged by the Independent Reading Program. Right now, I'm really crazy about this mystery novel called the Da Vinci Code. It's so tense and full of action. With these kinds of books, I literally forget who I am when I'm reading it. It's kinda like those pensieve movies where you step into a memory or dream and watch the whole story infront of you. The first chapter really hooks you up. Check this out, this Lourve Museum curator is murdered, but before he dies, he knows he must find a way to pass on a mysterious hidden secret. Then Harvard symbolist Robert Langdon comes along and checks out a photo of the curator's specifically positioned dead body. He thinks it looks familiar to some kind of ancient symbol he's seen before. eh?eh? suspenseful, huh? Well, bye for now. I've got a whole book ahead of me. Peace.
